At Berea we work with thousands of youth every year, but we only see them for a weekend retreat or at the most, a week or two during the summer. You, the full time, part time, and volunteer youth leaders, are the real warriors as you work year-round to build relationships, influence students, and change lives for Christ.
Berea has been a part of the fabric of this region’s culture for a long time; we understand the unique way that the heart of New England beats and we have been a meeting place for many different churches, denominations, and individuals.
I feel that God has given us a vision and the opportunity to be a connector among these ministries. A huge priority to us is to facilitate those connections in a way that is a source of support to you in the kingdom work that you do every day.
The “Leader Connect” page of our new website will contain a directory of ministry partners in New England; resources and ideas from other leaders in your region; a blog where you can post questions, ideas, requests, suggestions, etc. to help other youth pastors and get support for yourself; and much more!
I would love to hear from you about how we can make this page a resource that meets your needs, so please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email (nate@berea.org) or give me a call (603-744-6344). Updates will be happening over the next few months, so check back again soon!
Only by grace,
Nate Parks
Director of Berea
“Berea: From New England, for New England.”
